Subject: Good News and Survey
Hi Everyone,
Good news from the Hotel - we are not being held to the April 30th deadline
for two reasons: 1. We already paid a deposit and the hotel will honor that
for now, and 2. Considering the current situation they are fine with us
simply staying in touch.  We now have a June 30th deadline which gives us
time.
Also, if we decide to re-schedule or postpone the October conference, all
deposits paid and arrangements made will be honored.  I now have the hotel
general manager's direct line to call if we have further questions.
Whew!

Secondly, Lorraine and I just spoke and we are working on getting a survey
out to the membership, asking about their thoughts regarding conference
attendance for 2020 and 2021, including MLA's 125th, and a potential joint
conference with New England chapter.  That survey will go out out next week.
