[board-unyoc] FW: AHIP Application

Sorry, I saw this earlier and didn’t get a chance to answer right away.
For many years, it was written into the budget. The board had decided to
reimburse half of a first time applicants registration.
One of the interesting things is that as the years Went by, we of course
had fewer first time applicants!
It was my last year on the board prior to this, when we decided since there
had been no applicants for a few years, we would review case by case. It
was no longer part of the budget, but I was assured that it would not be
completely gone away.
Now circumstances and budgets change, with that I mean, available funding.
We were the first chapter to offer an incentive plan, so to speak. Other
chapters followed suit. Some pay up to a certain number of applications,
some offer partial reimbursements. I believe Chapter support used to be on
the credentialing page on MLANEt.
I would encourage us to consider Olivia’s request, and add a minimum
approve what we had done in the past.
Hope this helps!
Liz
