[board-unyoc] MLA Annual Meeting Stipend

Good afternoon,

Appendix A of our policy and procedure manual provides up to $500 each for Executive Committee members to attend the MLA Annual Conference.  The maximum amount allocated for stipends is $2500.  Preference is given to the following positions: Chapter Council Representative, Alternate Chapter Council Representative, UNYOC Chair, Vice-Chair,  Membership Chair, and MLA Credentialing Liaison.


I  have contacted individuals currently serving in these roles, and we have received interest from two members.  As a result, three stipends remain available for other Executive Committee members. If you would like to use a stipend to support your attendance at MLA, please email Rachel Becker and copy me. The remaining stipends will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
