<p class="x_xmsonormal"><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Thanks to the revised criteria (thank you all!) and stepped up recruitment efforts (thank you Eldiflor!), we have six great applicants for the 2021 Ursula Poland scholarship.</span></font></p>
<p class="x_xmsonormal"><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span></font></p>
<p class="x_xmsonormal"><font size="2" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The scholarship stipulates that UNYOC will award two annually, one to a Canadian and one to an American. No scholarship was awarded in 2020 due to an absence of applicants.
In 2019, one was awarded to the sole applicant. In light of the sparse award distribution in recent years and considering that all six 2021 applicants are Canadian, the members at large propose that we select two Canadian scholarship recipients this year.
