Water Shutdown - Community Hospital Thursday 7/29 2am - 6am


A water shutdown is needed that will impact nursing units on the east & west wings, floors 2-5. The shutdown is for the Infusion construction project.

The shutdown is scheduled for Thursday July 29, 02:00 - 06:00AM (4 hrs.)

During the shutdown, there will be no potable cold or hot water to Units 2W, 3W, 4W, 5W, 2E, 3E, 4E, 5E. Not affected will be the 6th Floor, North Wing (L&D, ICU, 4N, PT), OR, ED, or any areas of the 1st floor and basement. Bottled water will be delivered to the affected units. Plant staff is ready to assist with manually flushing toilets as needed. Portable handwashing stations will be place, one per floor.

For some patient rooms on the west wing,  toilets and sinks will not be available for a portion of the shutdown. These rooms are, 303, 304, 305, 306, 316, 317,   403, 404, 405, 406, 416, 417,   506, 516, 517,  603, 604, 606.  These rooms will be blocked off to avoid accidental use.

Questions or issues during the shutdown should be directed to the Plant Operations Work Leader via Vocera or by calling the Hospital Operator.
