[CHPFacultyStaff] CHP Faculty Mentor Program 2026–2027

Dear CHP Faculty,
I invite you to participate in the CHP Faculty Mentor Program for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The program will run from September 2026 through August 2027. Meeting frequency and goals are determined collaboratively by each mentor–mentee pair. As a general guideline, I suggest meeting approximately one hour per month, or 3–4 times per semester, depending on what works best for each team.
Feedback received to date from 2025–2026 participants has been highly positive. Faculty have highlighted the program’s value in supporting professional growth, promotion planning, research development, accountability, and connection across the college. One participant described it as a “non-stressful, collegial, supportive environment,” with benefits for both mentors and mentees.
Faculty may participate as either a mentor or a mentee, with mentoring relationships tailored to individual goals and areas of growth.

I also welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly about the program, your mentoring interests, or any questions you may have as you consider participating.
Please submit your application through the website by August 31, 2026, so that I can begin forming mentor–mentee matches early in the fall semester.
