Dear CHP -
I am very happy to share the news that Irene Kuo has been awarded her first NIH grant, an R03 entitled Dose-dependent Effects of Neuromodulation in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury. Irene has been working with rTMS for several years and previously received a Hendrick grant that supported data collection for pilot work in this area.

Noteworthy: Irene was paired with Stephen Glatt, PhD (Psychiatry) in the CHP Faculty Mentor Program, a collaboration that has contributed to this achievement. This is a wonderful example of the impact of effective mentoring teams.
