[CHPFacultyStaff] Call for Faculty at Large (FAL) self-nominations

Hello CHP.
Sierra is coming to the end of a term for the FAL representative to CHP. Sierra, thank you for your service in this role. You have done a great job gathering input from faculty on a range of topics, and your work is much appreciated.

We need to identify our next FAL, so if you are not a department chair please consider if this is something you would like to take on. The requirements and expectations are to be a full-time faculty member in CHP, to attend the monthly DAC meetings (first Thursday of each month at noon), and to represent the faculty perspective on issues discussed. The FAL should talk with faculty about issues of interest, and bring these to the DAC for information/discussion.

If this is something you would like to do, please send me an email (beissner at upstate.edu) indicating interest - get these in by January 23. Shortly thereafter we will have an electronic vote to select the next FAL.
