Dear Colleagues,
You are warmly invited to attend the Upstate DPT Student Research Day on Today (3/13), from 12:00–1:30 PM in the New Academic Building (3rd Floor Classrooms) at Upstate Medical University.
This event highlights the scholarly work of our Doctor of Physical Therapy students, who will present projects addressing important questions in rehabilitation science, clinical practice, and professional development. The session provides an opportunity to learn about emerging evidence, engage with student researchers, and discuss innovative approaches to patient care.
The event will begin with a keynote presentation by Adam Rufa, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS, Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy Education.

Student Research Topics
Students will present research on a diverse range of clinically relevant topics, including:

These presentations reflect the breadth of contemporary physical therapy practice—from acute care and neurologic rehabilitation to chronic disease management, oncology rehabilitation, and professional well-being.
Faculty, students, clinicians, and researchers are all encouraged to attend. Your participation helps support our students while fostering discussion around emerging ideas in rehabilitation science.
