Emerging Trends in Healthcare: When Video Games and VR Meet Science

Join us for the second installment of our Emerging Trends in Healthcare series for an interactive evening exploring how cutting-edge technology is transforming behavioral health research and care. This engaging session will highlight how innovative tools, like video game platforms and immersive virtual reality, are helping researchers better understand treatment relapse and develop new ways to support children with autism.

Through live demonstrations and conversation, you’ll see how discoveries move from the lab into real-world clinical settings where they can directly improve patient care. Sponsored by the Alumni Associations of the Upstate College of Health Professions and the Upstate College of Nursing, this free event is open to Upstate employees, alumni, and community members.

Additionally, 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU; at least 50 minutes of learning) is available for behavior analysts.
