Subject: [CHPFacultyStaff] Welcome - Dr. Ashley Galfano


Dear Colleagues,



Please extend a warm welcome to Dr. Ashley Galfano, who joins our team as the first postdoc in CLS.  Ashley completed her Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience with Dr. Christopher Bishop at Binghamton University, uncovering therapeutic targets for medication related side effects of Parkinson’s Disease. While Ashley still has a strong passion for research, she’s looking forward to expanding her teaching skills and making the transition to more of an education focused position.  Outside of work, Ashley and her husband  have a 1.5 year old golden retriever named Thor who takes up most of their non-working hours going for walks or stopping for a pup-cup!
