<span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">As a 2022 Clinical Perfusion graduate, Michael is excited to be back as faculty</span><span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: black;"> teaching in the classroom with
a big focus in simulation instruction, scenario design, and student feedback. Before becoming a perfusionist, Michael spent nine years as a surgical technologist, which gave him a strong appreciation for what's happening in the surgical field and shapes how
he will approach building realistic, practical learning experiences for students. Over the last four years, Michael worked as a perfusionist at Rochester General Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.</span></p>

<span style="font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: black;">Outside of work, Michael loves tinkering with computer programming, electronics, or woodworking. He and his wife share their home with two cats and a 9-month-old black lab/golden
retriever mix.</span></p>
