      The COVID-19 pandemic has forced home care and hospice
organizations to navigate unprecedented operational and clinical
challenges that will reverberate well beyond the recovery  phase and an
anticipated second wave.
 
 
 
 
 
       
 
  Organizations need to re-evaluate their operations and plans for
delivering care in a world fundamentally changed by the pandemic.
 
   
 
  On October 15,  HCA and  HPCANYS are joining together to host a
virtual Home Care and Hospice Emergency Preparedness Conference that
will be livestreamed via Crowdcast, an interactive virtual conferencing
platform that you can access from your computer, tablet  or smartphone. 
 
   
 
  The program features experts who will explore strategies and
considerations for this new phase of the pandemic and beyond. They'll
help you navigate regulatory changes, support  your staff's psychosocial
needs, and make decisions about telemedicine use, infection prevention
and control practices, supply chain management, infrastructure changes,
