Description: WR/FLRTC has partnered with Niagara University's Emergency Management Disability Awareness Program<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://frdat.niagara.edu/__;!!GobTDDpD7A!eW2rbjNEL5h4U5XPqWp8arFCAT_lZP4RLZ_8R-QgHyubZsnGSq_d_lHyOd2s4NOaAzk$> to provide a customized training for the Healthcare Emergency Preparedness Coalition.  The purpose of the training is to educate and sensitize emergency medical service, emergency management personnel, and those with a responsibility in healthcare emergency preparedness on equality and disability issues within the diversity spectrum. This training is recognized by the New York State Office of Emergency Management and the New York State Emergency Managers Association for its quality and content in educating individuals with responsibilities in emergency planning, preparedness, response, and recovery specific to person with disabilities and access and functional needs.
