[EMECHO] Weekly ECHO Clinics and other news- Week of 3/22/21

Happy Friday!

First – There are NO ECHO clinics scheduled for next week.  Our pediatric session originally scheduled for 3/24 needed to be rescheduled for August.

Second – As a reminder we are kicking off our Emergency Medicine ECHO in April. These clinics will take place on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  The first three clinics are outlined below:

4/13 – Buprenorphine in the ED
5/11 – Pediatric Airway Emergencies
6/8 – Dermatologic concerns in the ED

Third – April is Donate Life Month.  ECHO will be hosting 2 special event session - - The clinics will be held on April 19th and April 26th.  They will lead by Reza Saidi, MD.  These sessions will address primary and family medicine providers to help address transplant areas that they are able to manage in their offices including; tests to run, how to read/interpret certain lab results, medications that can be beneficial, management after transplant, living donations, transplant candidacy, etc.
