Point of Care Glucometer Interface Downtime

On Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:00 am, the Nova StatStrip Glucometer software will be updated and will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes. This will affect ALL locations utilizing StatStrip Glucometers.
During this 30-minute downtime, Point of Care Glucometer results will NOT be filed in EPIC charts. POCT Glucometers will remain operational, however, we recommend following downtime procedures for recording results. Inpatient locations utilizing Glucommander will be required to manually enter the blood glucose results into Glucommander during this period.

Once the software update has been completed and the connection has been restored, all results will be uploaded into the EPIC patient's chart.
