Subject: ATTENTION: REMINDER-EKG System Downtime March 28, 2023 5pm-11pm

Tomorrow March 28, 2023 5pm-11pm

There will be a downtime for the MUSE EKG System in order to perform an application upgrade.

During the downtime, the following will be unavailable:

  *   Cardiology / Muse Results Hyperlink on EKG 12-LEAD results in Epic
  *   EKG carts will not receive any orders.  Any EKGs performed during this downtime will need to have the patient information manually entered on the EKG machine.

  *   EKG carts will not be able to send EKGs to MUSE.



Once the upgrade is complete, IMT will need to reconfigure all the EKG machines to point them to the new system, after which the EKGs will transmit and be available in Epic.


Please note, for previous EKG results, all results in Chart Review labeled "EKG 12-LEAD - CMAXX REPORT" will still be available.


For any urgent EKG read requests, please reference Amion for the cardiology fellow on call.  The printed EKG can be faxed to the fellow on call for a read.



For any clinical questions during downtime, please contact Clinical Support via Vocera, # 315-441-0093, or via the Help Desk at 4-4115 and follow the prompts.
