[epicproviders] Effective 6/26/2023: Electronic DNR/DNI Orders

Inpatient & Emergency Department Providers

Effective June 26, 2023: DNR and DNI orders have transitioned from the White Paper form into Epic for the ordering provider to complete. The patient's age will determine the required documentation needed within the orders. The implementation of the DNR/DNI orders in Epic is in accordance with the End of Life, Including DNR and MOLST CM E-17<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://upstate.ellucid.com/documents/view/3715__;!!GobTDDpD7A!NfjiyeRS_rIAZdxYWxKISmT9bS1OsVQUR9I_qrp2AMRjg04ll09EB7WiPYfSTzlsj6_doMydn4_V5TqqRY-nyDd_B6nQfRU$ > policy.

Important: When completed by a Resident, these orders will need to be co-signed by an Attending Provider within 24 hours of being signed.
