[epicproviders] Effective 10/11/2023: Hepatitis C Screening BPA Update

Effective October 11, 2023: The Hepatitis C Screening BPA has been updated to include a Dismiss Reason of Consulting Physician.

The Hepatitis C Screening and ordering workflow is a Provider/Physician driven workflow based on the Hepatitis C-Related Screening and Testing for Inpatients and Outpatients Policy H-16<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://upstate.ellucid.com/documents/view/1246__;!!GobTDDpD7A!OYC6ejasOuqtLxzCy_sCS_qAS73sEmlpAmp--8zOvXiT8eGzkAXDnXWlAapVM_EzFrN6r4TmaF1S5GEwe5f0LRiCSDPj$ >. NYS Law requires that a Hepatitis C screening test be offered to all persons born between 1945 and 1965 receiving hospital inpatient or primary care services. This law was enacted to improve early detection of Hepatitis C, treatment rates and enhance public education.
