[epicproviders] Reminder - DNR/DNI Cosign Management

Reminder:

As of June 26, 2023, DNR/DNI orders were transitioned from paper to Epic. In order to help manage DNR/DNI orders being placed that need a Cosign, there is now a Storyboard Notification, two new Systems Lists and message sent to the In Basket. Once the DNR/DNI orders have been placed, the patient's Storyboard will update with the Code Status and a BPA indicating the orders needs to be Cosigned, if applicable. Hover over each section to see additional details.

Important: Any Attending Provider can cosign the DNR/DNI orders placed by a Resident, from the Manage Orders Cosign.
