Coding Queries can Notify You Through Haiku (and how to turn off)
You can now receive coding queries in Haiku. This is helpful if you are not in Epic when off service. The coding query allows you to create a new note or to dismiss the query as addressed.
If you do not want to receive queries by Haiku, you can turn the notification off. Use the following steps to turn off notifications for queries:
1. Open Haiku and click on the “More” menu at the bottom right of the screen.
2. Select “Notifications”.
3. Click on the “gear” at the top right of the screen.
4. Scroll down to “Coding Query”. Select it and turn off push notifications.
Note that turning off queries in Haiku does not turn them off in Epic. Like before, you will still see and be able to address these queries in Epic when you log in or open a patient’s chart.
