We are excited to share news about the upcoming fall upgrade, rolling out November 16th. It brings many new features to enhance our system’s functionality and efficiency.

We are particularly enthusiastic about two key enhancements that will make a big impact:

Streamlined Problem Oriented Charting (aka Diagnosis Aware Notes)
If you use Problem Oriented Charting (versus systems based) this is for you. Our new Problem Oriented charting feature is designed to streamline documentation for providers. This feature allows notes and patient details to be linked directly to relevant problems, enhancing the assessment and plan sections of the note. Providers can now add or resolve problems directly in the note—without needing to access the problem list activity. The assessment you write for each problem is preserved in both the problem list and the note, ready to be carried forward into future notes for editing. We’re confident this enhancement will significantly improve efficiency and ease of problem list maintenance.

Seamless Repeat Ordering from Results
Another exciting improvement is the ability to repeat orders for tests directly from the results display. To enhance efficiency during test result reviews, simply right-click on the test result you wish to reorder. This new feature ensures you can reorder a test seamlessly without navigating to manage orders before completing your review,, streamlining our workflow further.

These changes and many more will be available in just a week! Please prepare by reviewing our training materials. Click here to view<https://www-upstate-edu.libproxy.upstate.edu/training/intra/epic/index.php?kword=fall+2024&strrole=Providers&numcid=10&stage=1&submit=Search>

As always, reach out if you have questions or need support integrating these features into your daily routine.

Best Regards,
