<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Effective Monday August 25, 2025</b>:<b> Changes have been made to eliminate challenges to update insulin orders at
<span style="color:#C00000">discharge for adults </span>and improve clarity of insulin instructions on the AVS.
</b>Now, Insulin instructions are added to the AVS<b> </b>using<b> a new order, </b>
no longer a note at discharge<b>. <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Additionally, the <b>Insulin Instructions – All Notes SmartText</b> has been updated to include options for home sliding scale and pump management.
