[util] PARTIAL EAST WING COLD WATER SHUTDOWN / Thursday, October 14th / Starting at 10:00 PM

Please note beginning Thursday 10/14 at 10:00 PM cold water will be shut down and unavailable until Friday 10/15 at 6:00 AM affecting portions of the East Wing of University Hospital.

Units affected include Pre-Op and the PACU on 5E, 6E Burn Unit and 6K ICU.

Specifically cold water is expected to be unavailable at plumbing fixtures, dialysis boxes and equipment in the following rooms on the 5th and 6th floors of the East Wing of University Hospital:

5th Floor

E5504, E5512, E5513, E5514, E5516, E5517, E5518, E5520, E5521, E5523, E5527, E5530A, E5530B

6th Floor

E6414, E6415, E6419A, E6425, E6426, E6429, E6431, E6434, E6435, E6436, E6437, E6437A, E6438, E6439,
E6507, E6514, E6514A, E6516, E6516A, E6518, E6518A, E6520, E6521, E6524, E6524A, E6526, E6528,
E6528A, E6529, E6530, E6532, E6532A, E6533, E6534, E6535, E6536, E6536A, E6537, E6538, E6541, E6414

Following the shutdown access to plumbing fixtures and devices in the above rooms will be required for chlorination and to purge air in the lines.

Please note the above list of affected rooms is based on original building documentation and may contain errors and omissions.  If you experience any additional rooms or fixtures affected by the shutdown please notify the MOC at 4-4230 and/or Rich Peterson at (860) 885-4345.
