EAST WING HEATING WATER SHUTDOWN NOTICE


Physical Plant is performing repairs on the heat exchangers and isolation valves that provide heat to the 6 E Burn unit, 6H, 6I, 6K units, the 5 E main operating rooms and PACU area.

Heating will still be available from the fans supplying the areas . This work has been coordinated with all affected parties to ensure patient comfort is maintained. We will check with critical areas before commencing work to ensure there are no emergent situations requiring higher heat capabilities.

This work is scheduled to start 10/9/24 at midnight and plan of having the system backup and operating before 6 am Wednesday Morning.
