Electrical Power Interruptions Notice for East Wing, East Tower, Weiskotten Hall, Weiskotten Hall Addition, NAB, Silverman, Setnor University Hospital and Medical Library, CWB, Gamma Knife

TO:                           All Departments with Space in the above listed buildings

FROM:                      Marc Dingle, Electrical Facilities Manager

SUBJECT:               Electric Power Interruptions

TODAY'S DATE:     June 08, 2026



Date of work: Wednesday June 10, 2026, 4am - 6am





To restore our electrical system to our normal state after this weekend's power blip, all buildings mentioned above will be affected for a brief time.



Weiskotten Hall Addition, Setnor, NAB, Silverman and Medical Library; between the hours of 4 am and 6 am Wednesday, normal power (non-red) and emergency (red)outlets will see a blip in power while we switch. The elevators in WHA will also be offline until switching is completed.



East Wing, East Tower; between the hours of 5 am and 6 am. Wednesday, normal power (non-red) and emergency(red) outlets will see a blip while we switch. MRI #1 and the Toshiba ED CT will need to be offline during switching in EW.



  *   Only EW ORs 4, 6, 7, 9 & 13 should be used prior and during EW switching. After switching is complete All ORs can be used.





University Hospital, Weiskotten Hall, & Computer Warehouse Building (CWB): Between the hours of 4 am and 6 am. Wednesday, normal power (non-red) and emergency9red)outlets will see a blip while we perform switching. Critical equipment will need to be plugged into the red emergency power outlets.



All other campus buildings (Cancer Center, IHP & IHP Expansion, etc.) are not affected.
