To comply with current regulations, the Physical Plant Electronics personnel will be conducting a monthly test of the "Code Blue" portion of the nurse call system in the East Wing and Gamma Knife. </div>

<b><u>3E MRI, GAMMA KNIFE, & 3W Interventional Radiology-CODE BLUE TEST PROCEDURE</u></b><u>:</u></div>

Physical Plant personnel will report to the nurses’ station to announce that they will be conducting "Code Blue" testing and to see if there are any rooms that have special restrictions. The test will be announced over the paging system fifteen minutes prior
to the test (4:45AM).</li></ol>

2. Physical Plant personnel will then proceed with the test starting with the first room on the unit and proceeding down the hall until finished with the unit. When the testing on the unit is finished, a notification will be given to the appropriate
nursing staff.</div>

3. Plant Electronics technicians will proceed with testing until all units are tested. The order is to be as follows:</div>

4. When all testing is completed and the nursing staff is notified, the test will then be over. Completion of the test will be announced over the paging system.</div>
