I wanted to run this by you to see if this option for blocking morning time slots is possible for a couple of upcoming weeks. My wife is leaving for work to Florida and is unlikely to make it back for certain weeks when our families cannot help getting the
kids to school/daycare. For that time my mother cannot watch the kids (working), and her parents may not be in Syracuse (dates to fly in/out of Syracuse are not certain for them due to conflicts in their schedule at this time). My other extended family that
usually watches the kids, mornings may not be an option for them due to particular health problems, but afternoons should be fine. In that case, I will need to drop off the kids at the bus stop and day care before coming to work, and they will get them. If
that works, I can use 0.5 sick days for those days and come in at 10:30 am (I can try to make it 10 am, but it may be a close call). The reason I ask is to help decrease chances of having patient visits cancelled last minute and preemptively reschedule them.
The 2 weeks in questions are January 12-16 and February 9-13. </div>

February looks like the toughest month , but I will likely use vacation days for the last two weeks as kids are out of school for part of that time. Once I figure this out, I'll discuss with my wife and will inquire about those last 2 weeks in February.</div>
