[LabUpdates] Laboratory Testing Update - STAT testing priority update

Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing. In an attempt to keep us all on the same page, the Laboratory Formulary Committee will be regularly sending out emails with recent updates and guidances. Below are the short versions of relevant changes. Attached are more in-depth resources about the changes.

Laboratory Testing Turn-Around Time: As communicated on 9/10, laboratory testing in Epic will be updated as of 10/29/2020 so that the STAT, CODE, and Prior to Discharge testing options will only be available on those tests indicated on the attached guidance.  One change from the prior guidance is that the CBC with Differential is also available STAT for outpatients, though there is not a defined Turn-Around Time expectation for completion of this testing due to the complexity of this test.
