[LabUpdates] Laboratory Formulary Committee Updates - Immunology Testing Changes

Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing.  The Laboratory Formulary Committee regularly sends out emails with new updates and changes.



Immunology Laboratory testing change: Starting December 4th, 2025, Upstate immunology lab will changing multiple tests to a new testing methodology.  Some tests (CMV, HSV, Toxoplasma, and EBV antibody testing) will have changes to the units of measurement and reference ranges.  Improved interpretation text will also be added to the test results.
