From ElkinsM at upstate.edu Wed Jun 3 07:44:15 2026 From: ElkinsM at upstate.edu (Matthew Elkins) Date: Wed, 3 Jun 2026 11:44:15 +0000 Subject: [LabUpdates] Laboratory Formulary Committee Updates - TEG samples through p-tube Message-ID: [cid:image001.jpg at 01DC8A13.F18D6720] Medicine and laboratory testing are constantly changing. The Laboratory Formulary Committee regularly sends out emails with new updates and changes. TEG samples delivered via p-tube: Following successful validation of TEG testing on samples sent through the p-tube system, samples for TEG Bleeding Risk (LAB12367) and TEG Anti-Platelet Tx (LAB9687) testing at Downtown may be sent to the Blood Bank via the pneumatic tube system (p-tube stations 851 or 951) effective immediately. We hope to have this testing available on-site at Community campus soon. As a reminder, the attached guidance gives more details and step-by-step instructions to access the TEG Viewer application for real-time testing result access.
