with recent updates and guidances. Below are the short versions of relevant changes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Change from Light Green Top tubes to Gold Top tubes for Chemistry Testing:</span></b><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif"> Due to a critical
shortage of the <b>Light Green Top tubes</b> used for chemistry testing, samples for most chemistry tests should be drawn using
<b>Gold Top tubes starting NOW</b>. <b>5<sup>th</sup> Generation Troponin</b> testing can
<b><u>only</u></b> be performed on samples drawn in <b>Light Green Top tubes</b>, so
<b>Troponins must be drawn in Light Green Top tubes</b>. Instructions for which tube to use for each assay will be updated in Collection Manager and Epic as quickly as possible. Please see the attached guidance for more information.
