with recent updates and guidances. Below are the short version of the relevant change.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Change in reporting “hemolyzed” specimens for potassium:</span></b><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif"> Laboratory testing for potassium is
very sensitive to hemolysis. Beginning <b>March 29<sup>th</sup></b>, the threshold at which specimens are labeled as
<b>“hemolyzed”</b> will be changed in order so that the clinicians can know how to interpret the reported values. Please see the attached guidance for more information.
