[lawsonusers] RESOLVED: Lawson Requisition CHROME & Edge Browser Issue

Good morning!

Google Chrome(tm) and Microsoft Edge(tm) have now incorporated the Chromium(tm) fix for the v132 bug into their  browsers.

RQC search functions have been tested by Infor and have shown to work properly in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge after the following browser versions are installed:
                Microsoft Edge: 133.0.3065.51
                Google Chrome: 133.0.6943.54

Subject: RESOLVED: Lawson Requisition CHROME Browser Issue

Google Chrome has just released version 133.0.6943.54 which contains the fix for the Chrome browser issue. The fix is being deployed throughout our organization as we speak.

If you try to place an order and have the same issue, please check the version of Chrome on your desktop. The new version may not have downloaded/installed onto your PC yet.

To check the version:
Click on the 3 dots on the top right
Click on Settings
On the left panel, scroll down to the bottom
Click on About Chrome

Please Note: The fix for Microsoft Edge has not yet been released.

Subject: Lawson Requisition Browser Issue

Good morning,

I wanted to notify everyone about an issue that was reported regarding Lawson Requisitioning.

Description :
After updating to version 132 of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, users cannot create a requisition in Infor Lawson Requisition Center (RQC). The screen hangs whenever they try to search for an item in the Search Catalog and Express Orders. There are also reported issues with accessing Location Templates. The special orders work fine, but the catalog items cannot be ordered at all because of this issue.  Multiple versions of RQC are affected with this issue.

Resolution :
Infor is currently working on the fix for the issue with target release date of January 24, 2025.
As a temporary workaround, the options below can be considered:
1. Downgrade the browser to version 131.

Some users that have already encountered this issue were able to submit orders using Microsoft Edge.

I will inform you of any updates/resolutions as they occur.
