[util] WH Student Lounge Renovation

On July 8, 2024, Murnane Building Contractors will be remobilizing to continue work on the Weiskotten Hall Student Lounge.  This will involve placing materials around the outside of the south entrance and under the canopy near the B-4 parking lot.  At the south entrance there will be a compressor placed on the sidewalk with hoses running into the building for sand blasting.  The sand blasting is expected to take two (2) days and will cause noise while compressor is running.  Contractor will be required to shut compressor down if sand blasting isn’t actively going on.  Material that will be used to repair floor will be transported from canopy area to south entrance using a Georgia Buggy (motorized buggy).  Please stay vigilant.

Once the sand blasting is complete the floor will be primed and self-leveler will be installed.  This process is scheduled to take up to 13 days but the noise level will be greatly reduced and on July 29, 2024 the next phase will start.
