[util] WHA power upgrade project

In support of the ongoing WHA power upgrade, On May 4 & 5, 2026, the electrical contractor needs to shut down the normal power to the following areas in WHA: 8303, 8303A, 8303B, 8305, 8322.  Those rooms are on the middle of the hall near the elevators.



No Emergency Power will be affected



This will be a two-day affair.  Due to the researcher needing access to the middle room, we will only be able to change one panel and install the feeder each day but the two labs off the middle room will have to have the normal power shutdown.



I have been in contact with the researcher and customers affected.



The power is scheduled to be down starting at 6:00 AM until 2:30 PM (7 hours) each day.  This will allow the contractor to disconnect existing circuitry in the chase panel and relocate/refeed circuits to previously installed temporary power panels and do the same with the existing room panels.
