Good morning,

See Grand Round dates for the 2022-2023 year attached.

  1. Grand Rounds, starting August 25th will be taking place each Thursday evening, with the exception of semester breaks, at 5PM in Setnor 3507 (with food available starting at 4:30 PM)
  2. MS2/MS1 presentations should summarize what you did over your summer rotation (10 minutes presenting, 5 minutes for questions) – we have a bunch of MS2’s this year so this will be split into 2 weeks – you can argue amongst yourselves who will go in what week but reply to this e-mail and let me know what you’ve decided
  3. PhD students and MS3/MS4 : send your top 3 preferences for presentation dates according to the attached schedule. More senior students are expected to present earlier in the year when possible. MS3/MS4’s are expected to present at least once over MS3/4 year.

If I do not received your response by Monday 7-11 I will schedule you in and it will be up to you to switch out with someone else, if need be. If you are an MS3 or MS4, I would advise that you do not schedule yourself after the last week in February 2023.

I hope you all have been enjoying and learning from our summer Grand Rounds, so far. I certainly have been! Stay tuned for anything else this summer. I hope I can get another one or two in the books.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Andrea Rhea (she, her, hers)
