[mdphd] Schedule update + check-in

Buongiorno!

To keep everyone updated and involved on MDPhD happenings, Dr. Dhamoon and I are hosting an MDPhD Town Hall May 4th. No GR this week. You are all very busy so here’s the most recent GR/events schedule below through the summer:

In the meantime- good luck to Akshay and Adam as their defenses approach! Best wishes to our graduates getting ready for new adventures. Congrats to MDPhD families having spring babies and to those sitting for STEP then gearing up for dissertation work. Happy writing to our grant writers preparing for QE’s and grant submission. For those hustling in lab, take a moment to see all the progress you’re making and enjoy the ride. To our rising MS2’s, you are very close to closing out year one of MED SCHOOL! Finally, to our rising MS4’s, you can now see the finish line!

I can’t say it enough- you are all amazing! There’s a bunch going on. I am always here for you- phone call or stop in anytime. Snacks and tea have been re-stocked in my office. If I’m away, our most reliable Cheryl will let you in to grab something 😊
