Dear Colleagues,

I have been dealing with health issues for some time that have recently worsened. I will need to take a leave from my role as director of the MD/PhD program to sort through these issues. The Deans and the President have been supportive and wish for me to continue in this role after these concerns are more settled. Day-to-day operations and events of the program will continue. Please excuse my absence over some upcoming events. During this transition period you will be supported. I will have more information in the coming days about next steps. Until we have a designated point person to take on this role, I will continue to be available by email and phone. Please forgive me if it takes a day or two to get back to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding over the coming weeks.
