I have resigned as director of the MD/PhD program. This was a very difficult decision since I have been at Upstate since before many of you were born. My intention was to continue in this role for the next few decades, but life circumstances have gotten in
the way. It has been a joy to get to know you and to work with you through the highs and lows of your training. </div>

During my tenure as MD/PhD Director I have had incredible support from Drs. Dewan, Chin, and Schmitt who have helped me implement innovations and growth in the program. They will continue to support your education over the coming years. </div>
