MED2028 Elective Registration - Date approaching

Good afternoon MD Class of 2028,

As you know, students who plan to take electives that meet on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons must register no later than Friday, August 9 at 4pm in order to guarantee their clinical assignments will not conflict.

There are many great electives to consider including medical Spanish, Physicians and Social Responsibility.  Though it is not required to take an elective this semester, it is important to note that due to being part of a series, or timing, some require students get started this semester.  Information on electives may be found on the UME website https://www.upstate.edu/ume/courses.php. There is also some information on the UME Brightspace site.  If you are considering an elective, but are not sure, do reach out to the elective director to discuss asap.
