Lagniappe is a magazine for creative expression, managed by Tulane University School of Medicine Students. It is a space to explore ourselves, medical training, our lives outside of medicine and more. Check out some of our previous volumes to get a sense of what we tend to publish (linked above).



Please submit creative and nonfiction writing, poetry, visual art, sculpture, photography, doodles, epiphanies, reflections, class notes or anything else you can dream!

Additionally, let us know if we have your permission to use part or all your submission on our Instagram page and include your handle if so.



Submissions are reviewing on a rolling basis until October. All creators will be emailed once the editorial board reviews their work.
