Dear Students,

In response to student requests, I am happy to report that we would like to offer Medical Spanish electives in the spring semester.  Registration is currently open and there is a minimum of 8 students per class.  We will sponsor three levels:  Intro to Medical Spanish INTD9442 (Wednesday pm), Intermediate Medical Spanish INTD9443 (Wednesday pm), and Advanced Medical Spanish (Monday pm).  Students should have a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish to enroll in the introductory elective.  Each are 2 credit courses.

I encourage you to register ASAP if you are interested, and no later than Monday, January 6, at noon.  When we see how many students have registered, we will notify you if the course will proceed.  Classes will start the week of January 13th.  See the attached flyer for additional details.

If you have any questions, please email Patty Gooden (goodenpa at upstate.edu).  Ms. Gooden will be on vacation from December 20 - January 1, and will answer questions before she leaves or after she returns.
