MED2028 Schedule for September 24-27

Hello Class of 2028,

Thank you for your patience, we know you have been anxiously awaiting more details on the schedule for next week.

We are excited to share a schedule that includes a mix of useful and interesting required and optional activities. Activities are required unless specifically noted as optional.  More information on activities noted as being presented by COM-ECS can be found on the attached flyer. The central calendar has been updated and your individual time slots for CPR Refresh may be found in CORE.

Monday, September 23
No scheduled activities. Independent study, planning, rest (Target date for MCM grade release)

Tuesday, September 24
9-9:30am (Optional) ZOOM: Research Opportunities (Bourboulia/Stuenzi)
10-10:50am: Introduction to Clinical Framework (Maimone/Grandinetta)
11-11:50am: Navigating Electives (Maimone)
12-12:50pm (Optional): ECS Workshop: Studying in a FOMO World (MS2s Smith/Poblano)
2-4pm (Optional) ZOOM: Educational Opportunities, brief presentations by leaders of individual programs and electives. Detailed information with time slots will be updated on the calendar soon.

Wednesday, September 25
8am-11am: CNS1
12-4pm: CPR Refresher (as scheduled, Wed or Thurs-see CORE for your 1hr slot)

Thursday, September 26
10-10:50am (Optional): ECS Workshop: Time is Your Frenemy (Holtzapple/Bullington)
11:15-12:30 (Optional): ECS Workshop: Soup for the [Imposter] Soul (Holtzapple/ MS4 Hogan)
12:30-4:30pm: CPR Refresher (as scheduled, Wed or Thurs, see CORE for your 1hr slot)

Friday, September 27
No required activities.
9am (Optional): Students who fit the criteria for rapid remediation and are approved may take the MCM remediation exam. See MCM Brightspace "Assessment" section for more information.
