We hope everyone had a nice weekend! Here are the updates for this week.

MOSAIC - TODAY!
To celebrate the beginning of blooming season, we would like to invite you to join us for 'MOSAIC' ~ a special twilight meet & mingle with our Upstate leaderships - President, Deans, and everyone. Chat, network, enjoy the snacks, and be yourself in this safe space. Let's celebrate ourselves, let's celebrate the togetherness.

The Meddies! MS1 Class Awards
USG is excited to celebrate YOU with a class awards ceremony! Join us on Monday, April 21st, from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm for an afternoon filled with food, drinks, and good times. Stay tuned for more details and the official flyer!
As we power through the semester, let's celebrate the laughs, legends, and moments that defined our MS1 year!

Anatomical Gifts Ceremony
The Anatomical Gifts Program Ceremony will be held on April 26, 2025, at 1 PM at Syracuse University’s Hendrick’s Chapel. This special event honors the generous donors and their families who have contributed to medical education. All students are highly encouraged to attend!

Reminder for the 2025 Medical Alumni Scholarships
The Medical Alumni Foundation offers over 100 scholarships each year to Norton College of Medicine students. Applications for 2025 Medical Alumni Scholarships are now open.
Eligibility:

Class of 2028 (MS1)
  *
Class of 2027 (3-Year Program)

Key Updates:

  *
The Sarah Loguen Fraser, MD Alumni Scholarship is now an open application (faculty letters are optional but encouraged).
  *
New Scholarships:
     *
Margaret and Jonathan Lowell, MD '75 Endowed Scholarship: For MS1s interested in Primary Care (Preference: Northern NY).
     *
Mallory Stephens, MD '54 Endowed Scholarship: For MS1s and MS2s interested in Rheumatology or Immunology.
     *
Keith Stube, MD '88 Endowed Scholarship: For students with financial need and an interest in Orthopedic Surgery (Preference: Western NY).
