MED2028 2025 AAMC Basic Needs Study at SUNY Upstate

Hi everyone,



Sanaea Bhagwagar and I are conducting the 2025 AAMC Basic Needs Study at SUNY Upstate, in collaboration with students from other medical schools. This quick survey (under 5 minutes) helps us understand how well medical students’ essential needs are being met.

The results have already led to impactful changes at other schools — like clerkship rideshare programs, expanded food access, and financial aid improvements. We hope to bring similar support to Upstate, and your voice is crucial. We are trying to reach 60% of the student body to be able to better understand our needs.
