Dear Upstate Medical Students,


Are you a future physician with a connection to the North Country of Upstate New York? Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about the North Country Medical Scholars Program!  This new scholarship and career development program, a partnership between Hudson Headwaters Health Network and Upstate Medical University, is designed to support future physicians dedicated to serving rural communities.  During this session, you'll hear from:

  *   Hunter Southerland, M.D., Director of Medical Education & Lead Provider, Salem Family Health
  *   Suzanne Bergin, D.O., Associate Chief Medical Officer & Provider Recruitment Lead

Robert F. Ruiz, Norton College of Medicine Interim Vice President, and Dean of Student Affairs


The Hudson Headwaters Health Network team will share insights into the unique rewards and opportunities of practicing medicine in the North Country. Beyond tuition assistance, the program offers career networking, mentorship opportunities, and customized learning experiences!
