<p class="MsoNormal">As discussed during Thursday’s sessions, completion of MedHub course evaluations during the pre-clerkship curriculum is considered a professional obligation and is
<b><u>required</u></b>. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">At the beginning of each course, all students will receive a course evaluation. For longitudinal 3-semester courses, this will be a mid-course evaluation. End of course evaluations for longitudinal courses will go out after the mid-course
evaluation period ends. Half of the class will also receive evaluations for unit course faculty who have been identified as wanting or needing a faculty evaluation. The half of the class that receives faculty evaluations will alternate each unit. Longitudinal
courses may send additional evaluations. Please refer to their course syllabi for details and expectations and reach out to the course coordinator with any questions.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If at any time, you do not receive an evaluation, but <i>would like to evaluate a professor or a session</i>, you can request a form be sent via MedHub or by providing a feedback via email to the Office of Evaluation, Assessment and Research,
requesting that your name be removed before the feedback is shared. Teaching evaluations are important to the system. Faculty use them to reflect on their teaching and submit them for review by their department Chairs and promotion committees. For you, it
is an opportunity to highlight faculty you feel are highly effective, and to provide constructive feedback.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">While we highly encourage students to complete <b><i>all</i></b> evaluations assigned to them (and appreciate that this is not a small ask!),<b><u> completion of all mid and end of course evaluations is required</u></b>. End of course evaluations
must be completed <u>within one week of the course's completion</u>. A due date will be assigned and communicated for mid-course evaluations.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Students may begin working on these evaluations at any time, saving their progress and returning to it before submitting at the course's end. Reminders will be sent regularly. In the rare instance that a student does not meet the due date,
they will be notified. Grace is offered for up to 2 missing evaluations in the first year (across semesters 1 and 2), and up to one missing evaluation in semester 3. A professionalism concern report will be submitted for any students who surpasses this allotment.<o:p></o:p></p>
