The North Country Medical Scholars application is now live,  https://engage.upstate.edu/register/hhhh2026  and we encourage students interested in rural medicine, primary care, community health, or serving medically underserved communities to consider applying. The deadline for the application is August 14th.

This unique program offers much more than financial support. Participants have opportunities to connect with physician mentors, build professional networks, explore career pathways in the North Country, and gain valuable insight into the rewards and challenges of practicing medicine in rural communities.
