<b>Carolyn L. Kuckein Student Research Fellowship</b>, a nationally competitive program, open to first- and second-year medical students. Each medical school may nominate only one student, and Upstate will select a single proposal to advance for national review.</span></p>

<b>Dr. Lynn Cleary with a copy to Patty Gooden, by January 5, 2026</b>. The final application must then be submitted online to the national AÙA office by

<b>January 20, 2026</b>, with award announcements scheduled for <b>May 1, 2026</b>.</span></p>
